We are looking for a colleague to be a part of a small and agile team, that constantly innovates, develops, and optimizes equipment and methods for emergency response. We go the extra mile when needed, to support and service the international disaster and emergencies response system.
Your future position
The Warehouse Technical Officer will, in close cooperation with the rest of the team, contribute to the continued development and strengthening of Danish Red Cross emergency preparedness. He or she must ensure that technical equipment prepared to send for emergency operations are fit for purpose and in good working condition.

International Department in the Danish Red Cross supports vulnerable people in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, in close cooperation with Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in more than 30 countries, and have an annual turnover of more than 750 million Danish kroner annually. We work specifically on building preparedness and response capacity. DRC works both with long term activities and short-term response particular within health, disaster preparedness and response.
You will be a part of the Disaster & Crises Response Unit that works with disasters and conflicts globally, together with 18 colleagues.
You will mainly be working at our Warehouse for disaster equipment, there at this point, is based in Hedehusene near Roskilde.
We offer
The position is a fixed-term position with 37 hours a week and will run until end of 2023 where the contract will end.
You will refer to the Team Coordinator, with responsibility for Warehouse, Base Camp, Security and Surge.
Salary and employment conditions will be according to Danish Red Cross’ collective bargaining agreement with HK and AC.
